Well, we had some unknown downtime, but we're back. I doubt many of you care, but this is the best TA:WP site out there. Hopefully we won't go down anytime soon.

According to IGN.com, the two Team America: World Police DVDs will include many special features. Both DVDs contain the same material, including: Team America: An Introduction, 8 production featurettes, deleted and extended scenes, outtakes, two theatrical trailers, and animated storyboards. However, the Uncensored and Unrated version will include an additional one minute of footage, that was "too hot for the big screen". But alas, no commentary. Expect the DVDs May 17.

I hate having these short updates, but that's all the news I'm getting at the moment. The Region 4 DVD of Team America: World Police is scheduled for a May 19, 2005 release. Go to EZYDVD to preorder.

In the chaos of what is Team America, the UK DVD release date has been changed to May 23. Uhhh, I think that's all I have to say about that.

Well, the wait will be worth it. According to The Digital Bits, there will be a Special Collector's Edition - Uncensored and Unrated DVD of Team America: World Police. There will also be just a "Special Collector's Edition" of the DVD. Both DVDs are scheduled for a release date of May 17th. No news of commentary and other special features as of yet, besides the obvious cut/deleted scenes.

As for the Region 2 DVD, it still seems slated for an April 25th release. However, no special features at all are listed for this version of the TA DVD.

Yes, it has officially changed. Again. After some speculation, the Region 1 TA:WP DVD will be released on May 17, 2005. This date is OFFICIAL, so you'll have to wait a little bit longer. At least all the cut/deleted scenes will be on the disc.
